Felicity aged 2

On Sunday 24th June I head out to meet these guys at Cheethams park, Stalybridge for their photo shoot, we said we'd meet a bit later to avoid the busier period and maybe it would be a little cooler.... Ha... wrong on both counts, the circus was in full swing and the park was heaving, oh and no.. it was not cooler, boiling in fact.

So with cakes, blankets, bubbles and dog we forge ahead.

To be honest, this is what a family photo shoot be like, un-staged and natural, doing what you love, going with the flow, and with a 2 year old who read a manual titled, How to do the opposite to everything they say... you definitely need to go with it and chill out.

Thanks Ian and Louise for inviting me to capture your lovely Sunday afternoon, I loved it, and I look forward to meeting up again soon.

The Walker Family

I met the Walker family on a gorgeous evening a couple of weeks ago, as usual we introduce ourselves politely with smiles and hand shakes, and then I met Max.... it felt like coming home, you see I have a Max, although he's not called Max, he's called Harry. So my challenge was stood in front of me, all 4 foot of it... but I'll let you into a secret, I love kids like Max, their funny, natural and a joy to work with. I sl was his big bro .Josh, and he definitely won at the arm wrestle, way to go Josh, you've  got to get your own back at some point..

Thanks guys, it was an absolute pleasure xx

The beautiful Chloe..

This Little family have been a real treat for me. I have had the pleasure in being there with them on two of their most memorable and happy times of their life together. I have covered their engagement, their beautiful wedding day only a couple of weeks ago at Cheadle Village Hotel and this little bundle of joy, that made her appearance a five weeks before their big day.

Wow...!!  these two really don't do things by halves do they. but their love for each other is so clear to see and even with such a huge event just weeks before another huge event, they enjoyed every minute of it, they were calm and relaxed and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Thank you so much Kim and Eddie, it been a joy..xx

Balmy sunny days in the park...

When I'm talking about gorgeous photo shoots with the family, this is what I mean. Lennie and Annie, are at their happiest outside, so when their mum asked about family portrait shoots, with children, giving them the park as a location, was the best thing for them.

So we took ourselves off to Cheathams Park, Stalybridge, I let the guys get involved by telling me where we're going next, and just enjoyed an hour chatting and playing, whilst I just snap away. To me when children are at their happiest, the smiles are real and these pictures say it all.

Thank You Lennie and Annie for a great afternoon.

My First Blog

I am so excited to put my first blog on my brand new website, so I'm going to tell you what I've been up to lately. As well as lots of shoots, I have been working with the very talented, Sarah Sadler, who is the owner of Sarah Jane Photography, she has agreed to mentor me, and is helping me move my business forward. The first thing she helped me do, is create this amazing website, oh my god I love love love it, (feel free to leave a comment at the bottom and let me know what you think), it's allowed me to help you get to know a little about me, even before you've checked out my work. I'm going to share with you my journey with Sarah, and my next stop is in Wrexham at one of her weddings.....so looking forward to that. and so excited for the future.

I will keep you posted and see you soon xxx
