So last week, I was really interested to know what people would like when they book their photo shoot with me. Do people want to pay one set price for the whole shoot and receive all the digital images, so you have the flexibility of printing really big prints or loads of smaller ones… or you may even want to create some pretty collages and have canvases, and albums etc… it’s endless what you can do when you own the copyright to your images.
So 97% said they wanted a set price… which I think is a really great idea, and definitely the way I like to buy… I’m always worried about being totally seduced into buying something that actually I hadn’t budgeted for, and find myself eating beans on toast for three months after… lol.
So for you guys I have added a few print packages, again pricing each package so you know exactly what the end cost is going to be, helping you to stay within the budget that you are comfortable with. This will start with a small session fee, to cover my time with you, and you will also receive a 10x8 print to choose from your collection, and with each print package you choose, you will also receive the digital Jpeg, so you can always print extras later if you wish, and if you’d like to purchase more images at a later date, you can do that as well, as I do keep the images for a couple of years in storage.
For your full photo shoot package for the family and kids, the price is £250. For this I’ll be with you for around an hour or so, where we just have a load of fun, you get a mixture of candid and slightly posed group shots, and individual ones of the kids, but kept as natural as possible.
You will receive around 25 digital images, full size and ready to print from, plus 5 7x5 mounted prints ready to frame.
For this I will charge a session fee of £85, and you will receive a 10x8 print, mounted and ready to frame, you will then get to choose from the following 3 packages…
Package 5: 5 7x5 prints, mounted and ready to frame, plus the digital Jpeg of each image… £90
Package 10: 5 7x5 and 5 8x6 prints, mounted and ready to frame, plus the Jpeg of each image… £130
Package 15: 5 7x5, 5 8x6 and 5 10x8 prints, mounted and ready to frame, along with the Jpeg of each image… £180
On the 2nd August I popped to Cheadle to photograph this little man, he was just 2 weeks old, the perfect age for his first photoshoot.
We were still in the middle of our heatwave and boy was it warm..! Mum had dressed Alfie in his little shorts and Dad was sat nervously, waiting for me to start… LOL
We chatted casually as all three of them sat on the sofa, telling me about their birth experience, and Alfie’s funny little ways, (already developing his own personality), it wasn’t long before everyone had started to relax and realise they just had to be themselves.
Alfie, like all my babies, had a couple of unsettled moments, but with a little patience and the scope to switch to the nursery and mum and dads rooms, we got what we wanted.
I think you’ll agree, we got some corkers…

This is Libby, she is funny, lively and has 10ft legs, seriously, they go on forever.
So not surprisingly, Libby is constantly being told to try her hand at modelling as a career. with this she has decided to test the market, and see if there is a future for her in this industry, and asked me to take some pictures for her portfolio.
Libby was very keen on keeping her look very fresh, casual and simple. She didn't want to wear makeup as this isn't her usual look, and she didn't want to try and make herself look older either. I think you'll agree, with this fresh gorgeous face, athletic lean figure and 10ft legs, accompanied with her cheeky funny personality, this girl will conquer anything she wants to do.
I hope these images help you on your way Libby, I loved doing them for you, and I wish you all the luck in your future...xx
I met these 2 lovely girls in Cheethams park Stalybridge, I had donated a prize to, On The Move Property Boutique, for their summer sizzler competition they were running, and these two were the very lucky winners.
It was an absolute scorcher, and meeting a little later meant the light was a little softer, perfect for such gorgeous girls, and we even manage to get a cheeky picture of mum and nana as well, which for me is so important, as we all take loads of pics of the kids, but never get a chance to be on the other side of the camera, unless its a quick selfie of half our face...
Remember, when our children look back at the photos, they don't care if you've not got your make up on, or if you feel you need to lose a pound or 2, what they see is the life they have lived with you, and the lovely times you have spent together, and those memories will last forever.
If this has inspired you to book your family in for your very own photo shoot experience, then click on the link below, and see how it works..
look forward to meeting you.
On Sunday 24th June I head out to meet these guys at Cheethams park, Stalybridge for their photo shoot, we said we'd meet a bit later to avoid the busier period and maybe it would be a little cooler.... Ha... wrong on both counts, the circus was in full swing and the park was heaving, oh and no.. it was not cooler, boiling in fact.
So with cakes, blankets, bubbles and dog we forge ahead.
To be honest, this is what a family photo shoot be like, un-staged and natural, doing what you love, going with the flow, and with a 2 year old who read a manual titled, How to do the opposite to everything they say... you definitely need to go with it and chill out.
Thanks Ian and Louise for inviting me to capture your lovely Sunday afternoon, I loved it, and I look forward to meeting up again soon.

I spent my Saturday with this lovely couple and their lovely family and friends, documenting their beautiful and most glamorous wedding day.
The whole day was sprinkled with sparkle, from the fabulous bridal gown, the pretty pink bridesmaid dresses and the brides gold jimmy choo shoes. The choice of venue continued this glitzy theme, at The Saddleworth Hotel.... Wow this place is amazing, with its stunning setting and beautiful grounds, the bride and groom wined and dined their guests under the chandeliers and danced the night away over the glass bridge.
I had the pleasure of working with two fabulous makeup artists, Collette from Pro makeup academy and chloe torr, both very talented girls. and the gorgeous flowers were created by the lovely Kirsty from Harpers Floral Artistry, and the Tall Toast master looked after everybody and tended to everyones needs.
I love love love it when it all goes to plan... well except the weather, but this didn't dampen anyones day, and you just can't book the sunshine.
Thank you so much to Liam and Nicola, for inviting us to document your day, it was an absolute joy.
Sarah and my wingman Steve 💗
I met the Walker family on a gorgeous evening a couple of weeks ago, as usual we introduce ourselves politely with smiles and hand shakes, and then I met Max.... it felt like coming home, you see I have a Max, although he's not called Max, he's called Harry. So my challenge was stood in front of me, all 4 foot of it... but I'll let you into a secret, I love kids like Max, their funny, natural and a joy to work with. I sl was his big bro .Josh, and he definitely won at the arm wrestle, way to go Josh, you've got to get your own back at some point..
Thanks guys, it was an absolute pleasure xx
So I was preparing myself for another rainy one this weekend, after the week we've just had, but the sun shone on this Yorkshire Lass and and her new hubby... and the turquoise camper van, the ride of choice for the day, deserved to bask in this Yorkshire sunshine.
Lindsey and Wayne, along with their lovely family and friends, have equally sunny dispositions and so the scene was set for a day of fun with these nutters, from the bouncy castle for the small and big kids alike, to toasting the bride and groom with shots forced upon everyone by the groom himself... well, Wayne doesn't like sober people.... they remember too f***king much, apparently.
There was even a box bull of "shit shoes", stars of the hen doo at Butlins in Skeggy, that also made a cameo appearance.
A great day spent with theses mad mad people.
What an amazing couple...!!!
Thank you guys for inviting us to document your wedding, we had a wonderful day with you and your friends and family, and we would like to wish you an amazing life together.

How amazing was Saturday's wedding with these guys, two young gorgeous people with their whole life together before them. We were welcomed into Elaine and Murray's family home for the bridal prep and chatted away with them and Grandma, whilst Maria and Kate were getting all glammed up.
We then nipped off to meet them St Charles Church in Hadfield, for a lovely service, surrounded by their friends and family, and the heavens opened and so did the brollys, but it didn't dampen anyones style, and I think it's safe to say, we're used to this weather up north, and it definitely takes a bit more to spoil our day. And then it was off to Peruga... wow... that view... nothing can beat that view, stunning... ! and just like magic, when I stole them away for their beautiful portrait shots, the rain stopped, the sunshine came out and oh, what a beautiful light... amazing.!
Thank you guys for inviting us to document your wedding, we had a wonderful day with you and your friends and family, and we would like to wish you both an amazing life together..

Maria and James at Peruga at Woodheys Glossop
Well the yorkshire weather didn't surprise us but it definitely didn't dampen anyones spirits and more importantly, Sarah and Steve's style, which is chilled chilled and a little more chilled..... thank you so much guys for inviting me to document your day, it's been such a pleasure, and this is a little sneak peek to keep you going..💗
Thanks to Love lili coco for the gorgeous flowers, Hairess Stalybridge for the lovely hair doo's plus picabo photo booth, hope you didn't get blown away xxx
I'm so looking forward to covering James and Maria's wedding in May this year, and it was such a pleasure meeting up for this engagement shoot, flooded with the spring sunshine at Manor Park in Glossop.I offer a pre wedding shoot with all my packages, it's a great chance for me to get to see how you guys tick together, and it gives you a chance to see just what I'm looking for on your day, and it also puts the camera shy guys at ease as they realise there's no mammoth posing session and sore cheeks for over smiling, lol 😁
Are you Dreaming of a new Venture...
I have been photographing properties around Gee Cross, Hyde, Woodley, Marple and the surrounding areas, for just over a year now. I have been working with the fabulous team at, On The Move, sales and letting, situated in the center of Gee Cross at the bottom of Joal Lane.
I have watched this great business grow over the last year and it's been a pleasure to have been a part of it. Last week I spent the morning with the team, photographing them at work and we're all excited to show off the brand new office.
As a husband and wife team, they have built this business up with a vision to be different, and the ability to offer a bespoke service to each and every individual new buyer or seller, giving advise, help and guidance all the way through their journey of moving on.
I am honoured to be part of the team, to be able to use my photography skills to help Annabelle create her vision of making sure, that all her properties are staged and photographed creatively, so that all new buyers can realise the potential of a beautiful new home.
So for those of you with an exciting new business idea that you want to grow and show case, either through a your website or flyers and leaflets, let's have a chat, get creative and turn a dream into a growing new business....
Well its the 1st of November and we get this amazing romantic light, love love love this...
This gorgeous couple will be tying the knot in Huddersfield in the summer next year, but we managed to catch this beautiful soft light for their engagement shoot just before winter kicked in.
As with all my wedding packages, your engagement shoot is included in the price, I'm happy to go to a place that's special to you both or a local wood or park etc, but you've got to bring a little passion like these two guys....... awww I cant wait to see you both in the summer
This Little family have been a real treat for me. I have had the pleasure in being there with them on two of their most memorable and happy times of their life together. I have covered their engagement, their beautiful wedding day only a couple of weeks ago at Cheadle Village Hotel and this little bundle of joy, that made her appearance a five weeks before their big day.
Wow...!! these two really don't do things by halves do they. but their love for each other is so clear to see and even with such a huge event just weeks before another huge event, they enjoyed every minute of it, they were calm and relaxed and an absolute pleasure to work with.
Thank you so much Kim and Eddie, it been a joy..xx
I have had the most amazing day today, the rain didn't stop anyone, and watching these two gorgeous guys tie the knot, was quite emotional, their love for each other is very obvious to see and being joined by their friends and family was a joy.
Thank you Kim and Eddie for inviting me to capture your beautiful day, I have loved every minute of it..
I'll either be at the end of the aisle waiting for that first kiss or, if they let me I'll be up close and personal capturing your connection together.
You see, being a Wedding Photographer isn't just about taking a picture of the bride and groom along with their guests. It's about being there with you both throughout your day, almost like a little reporter jotting down the excitement, the nerves, the emotion and most importantly, the love that connects you both, the love that brings your beautiful families together.
So when someone asks, "do you remember when.........", you will say "I Do"
because, whilst memories were being created by you, they were being captured by me...
